June 14-15, 2017 – V International Judicial Legal Forum

Over the past year a lot of  significant changes have taken place in judicial system. Constitutional changes in the part of justice and the new Laws of Ukraine ” On the Judicial System and Status of Judges” and “On the Supreme Council of Justice” entered into force as well as  other conceptional  trends of judicial reform were launched,  next in line is implementation of innovations of the basic law in the part of  activity of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, amendments to the procedural legislation and to the Law of Ukraine “On the Bar and Advocate’s Activity”. Apart from it, a large-scale personnel project called “Contest  in the Supreme Court of Ukraine” entered final straight.

Key  developments in justice  will be under review during the V International Judicial  Legal Forum held by Yuridicheskaya Practika Weekly. The Supreme Council of Justice, the Higher Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine have joined to the organization of the current event.

Forum will become a platform for professional discussions and exchange of opinions between legal representatives:  judges, lawyers, prosecutors, legal business, authorities, scientists, domestic and international legal experts.

During two days,  June 14-15, 2017 the participants will receive an opportunity to discuss achievements of judicial reform, analyze general  trends of current practices (tax, labor, banking disputes, criminal liability, property rights protection and bankruptcy) and find the ways of increase of judicial system effectiveness.

Forum is accredited by the Ukrainian National Bar Association. The participants will have an opportunity to receive raising of qualification certificates.
